The City Council will answer the Murcian complaints and suggestions before a month from next autumn (25/06/2020)

| The Plenary gives the go-ahead to the initial approval of the Organic Regulation of the Special Commission for Suggestions and Claims that will now go to public exposure | Murcians may receive a response to their complaints and suggestions within a month, either on the operation and performance of the municipal administration or dependent entities.

This is established in the Organic Regulations of the Special Commission for Suggestions and Claims of the Murcia City Council, which today the Plenary has given its initial approval.The document will, from now on, go on public display for the presentation of allegations until its final final ratification in the municipal plenary session and publication in the BORM for its entry into force, which, predictably, will be in the autumn.The regulation will regulate the operation of the activity of the Special Commission of Suggestions and Claims, created for the defense of the rights of the neighbors before the municipal Administration.This body will report to the Plenary, by means of an annual report, of the claims presented on the operation of the municipal services, specifying the suggestions or recommendations not admitted by the administration.To deal with neighborhood issues, the City Council will create an Administrative Unit for Suggestions, Complaints and Claims whose function will be to manage the issues brought by citizens, of which the Commission will be informed and will carry out an annual report, detailing and analyzing their activity.

Said document will be submitted to the plenary for consideration within three months.According to this regulation, all municipal services are obliged to send to this unit the documents received in their department and will have a maximum period of 20 working days to inform citizens about the actions carried out.The Special Commission for Suggestions and Claims is chaired by the councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé.

It will meet every four months having its regular operation, although the president may call extraordinary meetings when there are matters to be dealt with or requested by at least three of its members.
