| The City Council joins the awareness campaign #LuzporlaELA | The City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of Administration led by José Guillén and the Department of Social Rights and Family, led by Pilar Torres, joins this initiative in order to give visibility to those affected by this disease . The objective of this action is to keep alive the search for the cause, treatment and cure of ALS and, at the same time, record that 'ALS exists'.In this way, tomorrow at 9:45 pm, the Moneo Building, Paseo Alfonso X, the river bed and the Almudí Palace will light up in green on the occasion of the International Day of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.In 2019, 134 municipalities from the 17 Autonomous Communities participated, lighting 171 green monuments throughout Spain, among which were the Fuente de Cibeles, the Plaza de España in Seville, the Arco de Santa María de Burgos, the Barcelona City Councils or Donosti, the Provincial Council of A Coruña, the Temple of Diana de Mérida and the most emblematic buildings in Murcia.
