The Municipal Network of Study Rooms in Murcia finalizes the preparations for its reopening (17/06/2020)

| The councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, has visited the branch of Ronda Sur to supervise the security protocol | The Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, continues to finalize the preparations for the reopening and resumption of the service of the branches of the Municipal Network of Study Rooms of Murcia (RMSE) which, predictably, will be for the month of July, attending to the royal decrees and ministerial orders coming from the Government of Spain on the situation derived from the Covid-19.This Service, dependent on and integrated into the Municipal Network of Libraries of Murcia (RMBM), has carried out a cleaning and disinfection device for all its municipal branches and is now finalizing the adaptation of the spaces with all the security measures.Among the actions being taken, is the reduction of the capacity to 50% of each of the study rooms, so that the distance between each post is above the now regulated minimum of 1.5 meters.Users will have disinfectant gel dispensers for hand hygiene at the entrance and exit and the use of masks will be mandatory.Likewise, all branches will also have signage with the recommendations and regulations for the prevention of infections by Covid-19.“These rooms are spaces for study, which must provide citizens with all the comforts and needs to favor their concentration.

Our objective is to give users back this space and, to do this, we must do it taking into account all the protection measures and guaranteeing maximum security ”, explains Mercedes Bernabé, who has visited the Ronda Sur branch today to check the protocol that is being conducting.The Municipal Network of Study Rooms in Murcia (RMSEM) has the following rooms located in: Alquerías, Casillas, Los Dolores, Rincón de Seca, Ronda Sur, Sangonera la Verde, Sangonera la Seca, Torreagüera and Zeneta (the latter again creation).In addition, there are four other rooms, integrated into the cultural centers, that operate with specific hours.
