| The Councilor for Education and Nursery Schools has visited this college, whose works will begin in the coming days | The Councilor for Education and Nursery Schools, Belén López, today visited the CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, in Valladolises, on the occasion of the improvement works framed in the Plan of Works in Educational Centers.Specifically, the actions, with a budget of 14,265 euros, are scheduled to begin in the coming days.

The works will focus on the adaptation of window trellises, punctual repairs of leaks in the roof, as well as painting work on different elements and spaces."From the consistory we work for the continuous improvement of our educational infrastructures in order to provide the students of the municipality with safe places that can guarantee the development of their activity with all the maximum guarantees", explains Belén López. Plan of Works in Educational Centers 2020The City Council has started the Work Plan in Educational Centers for this year, which will be endowed with 2,000,300 and will be carried out in a total of 80 public schools in Murcia and districts.

 Specifically, it will be carried out in two large blocks: maintenance and improvement of the services and benefits of the educational centers, where the actions promoted by the Municipal Boards are located, and, on the other hand, investment and renovation of sports facilities.It should be noted that this plan is the result of the work coordinated by the Department of Education and Nursery Schools, districts and neighborhoods and Sports and Health.The improvement actions focus on the repair of the roofs damaged by DANA, as well as the affected interior areas, the reform of toilets, replacement and renovation of doors, specific repairs of masonry, plumbing and carpentry, replacement of deteriorated elements, etc.Regarding sports works, the replacement of sports courts, goal repair, laying and renovation of the pavement, as well as the repainting of the game lines are some of the actions carried out since January and that will be carried out in the rest of schools during the summer months.
