The commerce of the municipality of Murcia is reactivated through admiration (12/06/2020)

| The Department of Commerce and Markets of the Murcia City Council, launches an original communication campaign to help reactivate purchases in local commerce | The merchants show their admiration for the citizens of the municipality, after the period of closure by COVID-19."WE WILL KNOW AGAIN" is the claim of the campaign presented this morning by Delegate Councilor for Trade and Markets, Juan Fernando Hernández, along with Santiago Vera Castillo, President of the Murcia Commercial Area Federation (FEMUAC), and members of the different Associations of Merchants who have not wanted to miss this presentation, whose main objective is to promote and support local commerce in the municipality of Murcia. This original campaign appeals to feelings through merchants' admiration for their neighbors.

In an emotional tone, merchants draw the attention of those citizens who day after day pass in front of their shops and who are part of their daily lives, whom they invite to discover them again after this period of confinement caused by COVID-19.The concept "WE WILL KNOW AGAIN" refers to the fact that in this difficult situation, the municipal shops have reinvented themselves, offering, as always, a wide and varied offer of quality products, but also, they have reinvented themselves not only adapting their establishments to new sanitary measures, but also taking a leap towards new technologies that make online sales and home delivery possible in many cases; but without forgetting its greatest strength, its proximity. New signageThe Department of Commerce and Markets has put more than 6,000 thousand stickers and posters to highlight the municipality's shops as safe points of purchase, thanks to the efforts of all merchants and the collaboration of Muác, Commercial Area, which has provided signage of security measures before COVID-19 through its merchant associations. The commerce of the municipality is a key factor for the reactivation of the local economy, thousands of families are directly or indirectly dependent on this sector, so with this campaign the citizens of Murcia are called upon to support and rediscover them, turning to Know. The campaign will be carried out simultaneously in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality through actions in the local media, to encourage residents of Murcia to make their daily purchases in shops in their neighborhoods or districts, and with a regional scope, to that all the inhabitants of the Region of Murcia know the wide commercial offer that the municipality offers them. The campaign will be promoted in the most representative media and social networks of Muác, with an emotional appeal, and in the words of a "secret admirer", the merchant, saying to his clients, "I WANT TO KNOW YOU AND KNOW ME " towards your customers.

The councilor for trade of the consistory, Juan Fernando Hernández, has made in the presentation an "appeal to all citizens of the municipality to collaborate with the dissemination of the campaign, so that it reaches every corner of Murcia and to help this punished sector, to move forward, making our daily purchases in the shops in our neighborhoods or districts, promoting consumption ”.

All the communication formats of the campaign will be available in the Murs RRSS.With this campaign, the department aims to unify efforts to the one recently launched by the General Directorate of Trade and Business Innovation, an organization that exercises powers in the field of trade in the Region of Murcia, in order to help encourage and reactivate purchases in the local commerce of the municipality.
