The first 16 Reagents of Murcian culture (03/06/2020)

Specifically, this first call has had as its central theme projects related to Medieval Murcia and the Three Cultures, claiming the figures of Alfonso X 'El Sabio', Ibn Mardanis 'King Wolf' or the thinker Ibn Arabí, among others.168 artistic initiatives presented168 projects were submitted to this call, of which 16 have been selected - 11 have been submitted by the self-employed, 2 by companies and 3 by associations.

A total of 128 artists participate in the selected initiatives.The City Council has expanded the budget of this line, which has gone from the initial 75,000 euros to 80,000 euros.

Regarding the modalities of the chosen projects, 4 are for performing arts, 3 for music, 4 for audiovisuals, 4 for plastic arts and 1 for education.

With 40 years of experience in theatrical art, he presents an original pedagogical theatrical project aimed at a young and adult audience, in which the great work of the Sufi mystic, philosopher and poet Ibn Arabí is revealed.-Murcian Dance Company and Faustino Fernández in music, presenting the work 'Fantasy in the gardens of the King Wolf', in which music and dance merge with poetic texts by Ibn Arabi, Al-Qartayhanni, Sustari from Granada and other Andalusian poets and philosophers, enhancing the exuberant beauty that the current Monteagudo complex once exhibited.

Renowned artists and managers participate in this project such as: Olivia Bella (Artistic direction and choreography), Miguel Ángel Serrano (Artistic direction and choreography) Faustino Fernández (Direction and musical composition), Luis Martínez Arasa (Actor and performer), Octavio Gómez (Lighting design), Vicenta Hellín (Production design).-The Tempest, Joaquín Clares and the Railway Company.

The stories included in this project have been extracted from the Matnawi (spiritual couplets).

La Tempestad is an early music group with a consolidated professional career established in Murcia; Joaquín Clares, a Murcian photographer with a long history and the Railway Company, directed and created by Paco Maciá, has built some of the most interesting stage productions produced in Murcia in recent decades.-The Claveles Theater.

'More Hispano' is an initiative for the dissemination of Iberian Renaissance polyphonic music, aimed at choir singers and music students from Murcia and, thanks to digital platforms, from anywhere in the world.

También ha realizado más de una treintena de producciones etnomusicales con recopilaciones y estudios de música tradicional en Castilla La Mancha, Murcia, Cantabria y Andalucía Oriental.

El título del proyecto es ‘3 de Múrsica 3.

Desde la Murcia medieval y las Tres Culturas hasta el mañana’, que pretende desarrollar un amplio estudio musicológico que se concrete en tres fuentes vivas de recurso con los que entretener al oyente.

Descripción: se trata de un licuado cultural en formato trilogía musical, en el que M.

Lacroix trabajará en orden cronológico sobre las músicas que parten de la Murcia medieval y que hayan pervivido hasta las que florecieron durante la fructífera convivencia arábigojudeocristiana de las Tres Culturas.-Pablo Antonio López Jordán.

Presenta ‘Pied Noir’, un largometraje de ficción y documental que cuenta el viaje de Said a Murcia, un personaje mágico que busca a la familia de su padre.

En el viaje, Said descubre un territorio lleno de matices e historia que le ayudarán a entender su identidad.

Se trata de una iniciativa de Pablo Jordán, artista sonoro y sonidista de cine, así como realizador de documentales y cortometrajes.-Salvador Espín Bernabé.

El ilustrador y diseñador de comics de nacionalidad española, quien trabaja para Marvel y por sus manos han pasado personajes tan importantes del mundo del cómic como, por ejemplo, El Increíble Hulk, Spider-Man, Lobezno, Capitán América, La Patrulla X o Deadpool, propone una aplicación interactiva o videojuego de preguntas sobre la Murcia Medieval 3 Culturas, con El Rey Lobo, Ibn Arabi y Alfonso X el Sabio como protagonistas.-La Sopa Escénica.

Este proyectivo se sumerge en ‘Testigos medievales: Pasión, sabiduría y espiritualidad en la Murcia Medieval.

Testimonio ficcionados de Alfonso X El Sabio, Ibn Arabi y el Rey Lobo’, su proyecto.  El colectivo La Sopa Escénica ofrece alternativas de formación, creación y difusión escénica y cinematográfica destinadas a toda la población, desde niños a la tercera edad, encontrando en las artes las herramientas necesarias para un crecimiento personal y profesional.· Artes plásticas:-Vicente José Sáez Castaño.

Proyecto presentado por Vicente  Sáez y en el que colabora también Pascual Martínez, dos fotógrafos afincados en Murcia que combinan su trabajo como fotógrafos con la formación especializada, el asesoramiento en proyectos y el diseño de exposiciones fotográficas.

Tomando el jardín como punto de referencia en común a estas tres culturas, los artistas plantean un léxico visual multidisciplinar de base fotográfica, para reflexionar sobre su creación y la relación que, en la actualidad, mantienen con estos espacios desde diferentes perspectivas.-Carmen López-Briones García.

‘Manqud’ es un proyecto de investigación que se centra en la seda cómo material representativo de la cultura y las tradiciones de Murcia a lo largo de la historia.

A través de este tejido se explora la relación, el intercambio de conocimiento que hubo entre las tres culturas que formaron parte de Murcia en la Edad Media.-Dictinio Castillo Elejabeytia.

Con ‘A orillas del rio’, el artista propone la creación de una pequeña pero ambiciosa obra pública de impacto visual capaz de ofrecer una nueva lectura estética del lugar y un nuevo acercamiento, introduciendo una rica reflexión acerca de valores como la tolerancia, la identidad de las tres culturas, y la convivencia en la diversidad cultural.-Diego Lizán Carrasco.

Su proyecto ‘La baraja de la Murcia Medieval’ supone la creación de unos naipes específicos que recojan personajes y patrimonio de la época, siendo una iniciativa de ilustración.

Diego Lizán, formado en la Escuela de Arte de Murcia, ha realizado diversas exposiciones individuales y colectivas.· Educación.-Asociación Onda de Murcia.

La Asociación Musulmana Onda propone un espacio de encuentro-diálogo-reflexión de vecinos y vecinas jóvenes de diversa procedencia sobre nuestra herencia cultural andalusí y su reflejo cultural en la Murcia actual desde distintas miradas, construyendo narrativas personales y colectivas con base científica, gracias a la presencia de Juan José Tamayo, Pilar Garrido y Houssein El Ouariachi.
