The City Council disinfects the parks to guarantee the safety of families from Murcia (01/06/2020)

The workers in charge are perfectly equipped with the regulatory safety clothing to avoid contagion and other elements, such as masks and gloves.Disinfection is carried out by spraying with sodium hypochlorite, diluted in water.

In total 24,000 liters of broth have been used per day.

Thus, 42 treatment backpacks, 2 200-liter tanks, 2 1,000-liter tanks, 3 800-liter tanks and 2 800-liter spray guns have been used.The City Council has also put in place a special device for cleaning and disinfecting the streetlight supports located in some of the busiest locations in the municipality.

In the case of cleaning and disinfecting the supports of the streetlights in green areas, almost 6,000 supports of light points have been disinfected in 182 parks, gardens and walks in the municipality. Intensification in canine recreation areasThe Parks and Gardens Service has intensified the cleaning tasks in the 51 canine recreation areas of the municipality, both in the game elements for pets and the furniture in these spaces, disinfecting 4 times a day.In addition, informative posters indicating the limitation of access to 5 people at the same time in the same space, as well as the hours of use, from 7 to 23 hours and the security measures that refer to the use of mask and gloves are being placed.

The zones are marked out when working in them and access is not allowed until the product has dried, which is in no way toxic. "These spaces become sensitive places where it is a priority to maintain, maintain, care and hygiene and safety conditions.
