Education invites schoolchildren to participate in the drawing contest ´When we had to stay at home´ (27/05/2020)

| Councilwoman Belén López emphasizes that "the purpose is to enhance the creativity of boys and girls to create an album full of ideas, which will be available on the murciaeducadora.net website and on the social networks of Facebook and Flickr "| The City Council works to promote and ensure the comprehensive development of children through the implementation of programs that contribute to improving their education and the construction of safe spaces.From the beginning of the state of alarm, the Department of Education and Nursery Schools adapted its educational offer # MurciaMiCiudadEnseña to current circumstances by investing in a program of varied resources to work from home. In this way the contest "When we had to stay at home" was born, an initiative with which the consistory, through the Education Service, invites schoolchildren in the municipality to capture their experience during this time through a drawing."The purpose is to enhance children's creativity to create an album full of ideas, which will be available on the website murciaeducadora.net and on the social networks of Facebook and Flickr", explains the Councilor for Education and Nursery Schools, Bethlehem López.An initiative aimed at children between 6 and 12 years oldThe initiative is aimed at boys and girls between 6 and 12 years old who are studying at any of the educational centers in the municipality of Murcia.

They should record their experience during this time at home in a drawing.

The work must accompany a word or title that summarizes the message to be made known.The work will be sent by photo or scan to the address mariadolores.pozo@ayto-murcia.es, highlighting the name of the activity and the participant's personal data (name and surname, school to which it belongs and contact telephone number) .The call will be valid until the last day of confinement and the works will be published on the aforementioned channels, as they arrive.
