The XIII Cycle of Young Soloists will offer 10 free concerts from October 9 to November 14 (25/05/2020)

| The bases to participate are now available at www.enclavecultura.com and events.murcia.es | Murcia will celebrate the next months of October and November the XIII Cycle of Young Soloists.The City Council seeks with this event to support artists and bring culture closer to new audiences, thus achieving a more comprehensive, open, stable, accessible, transparent and participatory cultural policy."The history of the previous twelve years has involved the promotion and experiences of young people that, with the passage of time, has crystallized with the success of their studies and their subsequent confirmation as professionals.

In the period from 2008 to 2019 , more than 90 concerts have been held, steeped in excellence, learning, contact with the public and personal growth, "explained the Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco.In order to maintain this spirit, the interpreters who are selected from this call will hold a concert, with sound recording, in one of the public spaces dependent on the Department of Culture and Heritage Recovery, during the weekends between 9 October and November 14, 2020.Pacheco explained that "the City Council is promoting a new cultural model for the municipality of Murcia focused on people, in this case in supporting artists and creatives at all stages of their professional career.

The 'Young soloists' program is a boost for many young people in the early years of their careers, who are often the most difficult.

"The participation bases, which are already published on the websites www.enclavecultura.com and eventos.murcia.es, are as follows:Be students in musical training, last year of Professional Teaching, Higher Degree or Master and be between 17 and 25 years old.Be a native of the Region of Murcia or linked to it by studies or residence.Presentation of a 10-minute video where the participant shows their artistic level, in which they perform a work or select a significant movement of free choice in the repertoire of their instrument, which can be presented using digital or video media on Youtube.

The digital supports may be delivered to the offices of the Cultural Centers and Auditoriums Program, located at C / Álamos nş5, 1st floor, 30002 Murcia, or by sending the links to the following email addresses: Centrosculturales1@ayto-murcia.es, Centrosculturales5 @ ayto-murcia.es or Centrosculturales6@ayto-murcia.es.Contribution of a brief curriculum in PDF format.Letter of recommendation or proposal from teachers, institutions or other public entities related to musical training.The accompanying pianists and instrumentalists must be from Murcia or related to the educational institutions of Murcia, valuing, in a special way, that they have participated in previous editions of the cycle.If there is an original repertoire for the selected instrument, the concert program must incorporate a composition by LV Beethoven (1770-1827), in the year of the 250th anniversary of his birth.The deadline for submitting documentation ends on June 30.CalendarIn total, 10 concerts will be held between October 9 and November 14, all of them free access:October 9, Friday, Guadalupe AuditoriumOctober 10, Saturday, Beniaján AuditoriumOctober 11, Sunday, concert in public square to be determinedOctober 23, Friday, La Alberca AuditoriumOctober 24, Saturday, Algezares AuditoriumOctober 30, Friday, Stables RoomOctober 31, Saturday, Guadalupe AuditoriumNovember 6, Friday, Cabezo de Torres AuditoriumNovember 13 and 14, Stables Hall.All concerts are at 20:00, except for the one on October 11, which will be held at 12 in the morning.
