Itete Conecta has donated 6,000 cleaning materials and food products to low-income families in Murcia (07/05/2020)

In particular, the solidarity committee has donated more than 1,800 cleaning and personal hygiene items to the Parish of San Benito through the Caritas office established in that parish, more than 550 food and baby products to the Parish of La Paz and more than 2,000 cleaning and personal care products to the CEPAIM association. This donation is included within the first phases of helping the most disadvantaged families in the fight against Covid-19, actions that are carried out by the solidarity committee in the provinces where Itete Conecta has demarcation. The staff of the Spanish telecommunications company, Itete Conecta, of Grupo Castelus, specialized in the telecommunications sector, has created, together with the managers and managers, a solidarity committee that, thanks to financial and material contributions from its employees and directive, manages to help the most disadvantaged people compared to the in the provinces where Itete Conecta has demarcation. In April, the first actions were carried out in Fuenlabrada (Madrid), San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife) and the towns of Viator and Huércal de Almería with the delivery of food packages, personal hygiene products, as well as essential items.

In addition to Murcia, the Itete Conecta solidarity committee will also act this week in Alicante, Barcelona and Albacete.

These contributions will be carried out through the presidents, managers and secretaries of the different municipalities, Caritas delegations, Red Cross delegations, as well as small associations and action parishes in the defined areas to distribute aid.
