The Libraries of Murcia offer a special program for Mother's Day (01/05/2020)

| The RMBM offers a selection of 15 videos with literary recommendations, poetry reading and storytelling for this May bridge | The Municipal Library Network of Murcia (RMBM), dependent on the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, offers a varied program to enjoy reading during this May bridge.

 The cultural offer for these days is made up of a selection of 15 videos on different themes, such as storytelling, literary recommendations, a cooking workshop, as well as several special readings dedicated to mothers, whose figure will pay tribute next Sunday.On this occasion, the librarians repeat, mostly, as authors of the videos, together with the collaboration of library users.

As has been done during this time, the recordings will be broadcast from the YouTube channel of the City Council and that of the RMBM and will be broadcast on social networks at different times, from today until Sunday."We started the month of May with a special program in which we wanted to pay tribute to our mothers, in this period we are living.

We encourage all Murcians to enjoy a fun and enjoyable selection through social networks ”, highlights Mercedes Bernabé.The program, day by dayThe programming is made up of a selection of 15 videos that will be broadcast through the YouTube channel of the Murcia City Council and the RMBM at the following times:FRIDAY, MAY 1.

'INTERNATIONAL WORK DAY'-At 10.00 a.m.

Literary recommendation: María Eugenia Lorca, from the Puente Tocinos Library, will talk about the work 'El niño yuntero', by Miguel Hernández, part of her poetry book 'Viento del pueblo' (1937).-At 11.00 a.m.

Storytelling: Toñi García, from the San Basilio Library, will narrate 'Devolvedme mis piojos', by Pef.

It is an album of children's literature and translated into French by Juan Ramón Azaola.-At 12.00.

Easy reading recommendation: Elena Alcántara, user of the San Basilio Library and in collaboration with Assido, will speak about the work 'Arturo Leal and the ghost dog', by Ana Campoy.

This section is for everyone, but especially for those who have reading difficulties.-At 1:00 p.m.

Cooking recipe: Blanca Sánchez, from the San Basilio Library, together with Carlos Pardo, teach how 'The bread of our grandparents' is made.SATURDAY, MAY 2-At 10.00 a.m.

Storytelling: Ana Serna, user of the La Alberca Library, will narrate 'What are you telling me, Cape?-At 11.00 a.m.

Storyteller: Alejandra Macías, from the Santiago el Mayor Library, will read to the little ones a selection of poems from the work 'Animal Tales', by Gloria Fuertes.-At 1:00 p.m.

Literary recommendation: Eloy E.

Capdevila, from the Reading Club of the San Basilio Library, will speak about the work 'The Fugitive', by Ramón J.

MOTHER'S DAY.-At 10.00 a.m.

Homage to mothers.

Reading poems by various authors.-At 11.00 a.m.

Reading: María Eugenia, from the Puente Tocinos Library, will offer a reading of poems about the work 'Mi madre', by Roy Galán.-At 11.30 a.m.

Homage to mothers.

Carmen Simón, from the El Carmen Library, makes a selection of 'Fairy tale mothers: and real as life itself)'.

It is a tribute from RMBM to all mothers through children's stories.-At 3:00 p.m.

Selection of books: Toñi García, from the San Basilio Library, will mend books in electronic format available for loan on eBiblio Murcia on the occasion of Mother's Day.-At 4:00 p.m.

Literary recommendation: Fanny Sabater, from the Santiago el Mayor Library, will talk about 'The lover of the volcano', by Susan Sontag.-At 5:00 p.m.

Literary recommendation: A user of the La Alberca Library will speak about the work 'The power of a song', by Ariann.-At 6:00 p.m.

Literary recommendation: A user of the La Alberca Library will speak to readers about the work 'Los futbolísimos', by Roberto Santiago.-At 7:00 p.m.

Literary recommendation: Blanca Sánchez, from the San Basilio Library, will speak about the work 'El comisario Salvo Montalbano', by Andrea Camilleri.
