The UMU receives 45 micro-stories related to solidarity and the coronavirus in an initiative organized by Book Day (30/04/2020)

| Until May 7, another micro-story contest of the Culture Service remains open | The University of Murcia has received 45 micro-stories to participate in the initiative created by the Murcia University and Solidarity Social Center to commemorate Book Day.

Micro-stories should have solidarity as a central theme during confinement.

The texts, which should have a maximum length of 200 words, have come from different parts of the Murcia Region and from cities such as Seville, Madrid and Zaragoza, Huelva.

There are even two participants from Mexico City.

All his creations can be read on the social networks of @centrosocialumu and @solidarios_es and can also be seen on the website of the University Social Center. On the other hand, the micro-story contest organized by the Culture Service of the University of Murcia is still active.

Those who wish to participate have until May 7 to send their text, which must have a maximum of 200 words, including 'confinement', 'freedom' and 'hug'.

All the bases of this contest, in which there are prizes such as a Kindle reader, can be consulted on the website of the UMU Culture Service. On the occasion of the celebration of Book Day, reading recommendations were requested from the University of Murcia and more than 250 have been received and shared through social networks.
