80 unemployed students finish two projects of the Mixed Employment and Training Programs (25/04/2020)

| During the year that the theoretical-practical training lasted, the projects called "FICA Classroom Completion" and "Gastro-Tourism VI" have been developed | A total of 80 students have completed two of the projects of the Mixed Employment and Training Programs aimed at improving the professional qualification and employment of unemployed people.After the declaration of the state of alama, the Employment service of the Murcia City Council, which is run by councilor Pedro García Rex, made available to these students an online training room adapted to their needs so that they could finish their learning process.Construction, plumbing, electricityDuring the year that the training lasted, the projects "Completion of the FICA Classroom" and "Gastro-Tourism VI" have been developed, both actions promoted by the Murcia City Council and co-financed by the Regional Employment and Training Service.The budget for the "FICA Classroom Completion" project, in which 40 students under the age of 25 have participated, has totaled 872,891 euros, of which 472,891 correspond to the SEF grant and 400,000 are from a municipal contribution.A total of 1,800 teaching hours have been given, 568 of theoretical nature and 1,438 of practical training in maintenance operations of electricity installations, masonry, installation of laminated plasterboard and false ceilings, assembly and maintenance of low-voltage electrical installations, domestic plumbing and heating-air conditioning and carpentry and furniture work.Kitchen, bar-cafeteria and accommodationIn the case of the "Gastro-tourism VI" project, which has had a budget of 966,692 euros, of which 646,692 correspond to the SEF grant and 320,000 are from a municipal contribution, a total of 40 students between 25 and 54 have participated years.During the development of this project, a total of 1,920 hours of theoretical and practical training have been taught in the cooking, bar-cafeteria and accommodation specialties.The professional training obtained by the students of these projects is fundamentally based on the combination of training and real work experience, perfectly combining both objectives.

 The Councilor for Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, Pedro García Rex, has indicated that "from the Department we will continue promoting this type of training programs that facilitate the job placement of the most vulnerable groups."
