Citizen Attention exceeds 16,000 steps since the declaration of the state of alarm (21/04/2020)

| The calls to 010 on social emergency have been 1,336 since March 31, when this line was unified to serve the most vulnerable people | The Citizen Service Service of the Murcia City Council, dependent on the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, led by Mercedes Bernabé, has carried out a total of 16,262 procedures from March 16 to April 20.This figure includes the requests made through the telephone and telematic channels, as well as those belonging to the municipal Electronic Office and ORVE (Virtual Electronic Registry), the routes that the council made available to residents to answer their queries or procedures.Specifically, of the total obtained, 10,886 correspond to non-contact procedures, that is, by telephone and telematic channels, while 5,376 belong to the Municipal Electronic Office and ORVE"From the first moment, the Citizen Attention service reorganized its staff to be closer to the neighbors and to be able to manage all their requests in a coordinated way," emphasizes Mercedes Bernabé.Via telephone and telematicsThe telephone channel has received a total of 8,191 calls, from March 16 to April 20.

Hence, 7,717 requests belong to number 010 (7,517 for information and 200 for complaints); and 474 correspond to the number 900 222 900 of procedures.Likewise, a total of 2,696 procedures have been carried out electronically, of which: 331 were from the Chat; 1,950 from the online paperwork service; 22 emails from the address opinaymejora@ayto-murcia.es; 227 requests from the TuMurcia application; and 165 requests for information online.Electronic headquarters and ORVEIn addition, the Citizen Attention staff has received during these weeks a total of 5,376 writings, of which: 4,194 come from the municipal Electronic Office and 1,182 from the ORVE system (Virtual Electronic Register).Taxes, census and telephone numbers of interestCitizens continue to use these channels to request information related to the Covid-19, from the type of displacement allowed, telephones of interest, such as the health center, social worker in the area or the Local Police, incidents on the road public related to the cleaning service, as well as the payment of taxes, registration flyers and fines, among others.1,336 social emergency callsThe City Council unified, since last March 31, all calls from the social emergency on information line 010, a measure framed in the Social Contingency Plan to respond to the most vulnerable population in the face of the crisis caused by Covid- 19.In this way, from that date until April 20, a total of 1,336 calls have been received, of which 1,300 correspond to requests from Social Services, mostly about food aid, and 36 come from people who want to collaborate with donating essential products or as volunteers.The 010's hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m.

to 6 p.m.

Specifically, the day that most calls were received was yesterday, April 20, with 262.
