They propose to flood the networks with La Parranda's "Canto a Murcia" on the day of the Bando (14/04/2020)

Within the initiative #musicaviral, which circulates on social networks promoted by the associations of music teachers throughout the country under the umbrella of its confederation COAEM, today the Bando de la Huerta, the "Song to Murcia" of the zarzuela La Parranda by Francisco Alonso.

# Músicaviral is a proposal for musical dissemination through social networks that works from the beginning of confinement.

With it, the music teachers propose to the educational community and especially to the students who are currently suffering from the situation of confinement, the interpretation of a daily melody and its diffusion through the RRSS.

For this, affordable adaptations for people with basic musical levels are published on the COAEM website every day.

Since the beginning of the confinement, there have been hundreds of videos recorded by students, teachers and families in a proposal that wants to contribute to keeping music education alive while collaborating to make this difficult situation that we are going through more bearable.

The proposals to date have been well known classical and popular melodies.

For today, the day of the Bando in Murcia, it has acted in a similar way to last March 19, when # musicviral joined the initiative of the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community with the interpretation of "Paquito el Chocolatero" and, In recognition of the important work being carried out by the Association of Music Teachers of the Region of Murcia (ADMURM), the interpretation of this La Parranda choir has been proposed.

Among the recordings planned, there is the virtual performance that the Choir of Teachers of the Region of Murcia will make, a group led by Margarita Muñoz Escolar and made up of teachers from our community, in which the tenor Juan Gallego will perform as a guest soloist.

ADMURM now coordinates all the work to ensure that the Teacher's Choir, which represents one of the branches of its activity as an association, can present and disseminate this piece.

At the same time, ADMURM wants to encourage all the musical entities in the Region, our students and all those who wish to join the #musical initiative by uploading the videos of their performances to the networks.
