Education invites schoolchildren to make a virtual visit to the Cathedral of Murcia through the #MurciaMiCiudadEnCasa program (04/04/2020)

Schoolchildren in the municipality can, from today, make a virtual visit to the Cathedral of Murcia or learn about social skills in the park of emotions.

These are some of the activities of #MurciaMiCiudadEnCasa, the offer of activities and resources that the Department of Education and Infant Schools, led by Belén López, through the Educational Programs Service, offers children to work during the period of isolation by the Covid-19 crisis.

"We have adapted the # MurciaMiCiudadEnseña program to the circumstances we are going through using technological and digital means in order to provide families with exercises to continue working from home," explains the mayor.

The resources are available on the murciaeducadora.net website, where they are updated every week.

Parents, teachers and students will find various activities on this portal, many of which will take them to the Facebook and YouTube channels.

Thus, starting today, the youngest children can participate in the Digital Campus with activities in English;

schoolchildren will have the opportunity to get to know the Murcia Cathedral through a virtual tour;

participate in the park of emotions, where they will learn social skills;

Different channels will be available, such as the well-known 'EduClan de TVE' or a video with recommendations on healthy eating.

This offer is in addition to the one also available since last week, such as the Road Education class, different links to learn English, the visit to the Prado Museum, educational talks, the Reading Channel or access to the eFILM platform, among others .
