The Governing Board has today approved the award of the specific administrative clauses and technical prescriptions for the contracting, through a simplified open procedure, of the maintenance service of computer applications in Forms environment of the Murcia City Council for a price of 97,822 euros for the term one year.
The Murcia City Council currently has a set of departmental applications that have been developed and improved over the last few years and that have a special functional focus on different municipal services.
Much of these applications have in common technological aspects in terms of development language, Relational Database and Document Management System.
The latter, based on Fedora Commons technology, is one of the fundamental pillars of the applications and requires special support coordinated with the Municipal Computing Service.
In addition, the applications also share, structurally, an application management framework and set of utilities developed ad-hoc.
In this way, the service to be contracted will be focused on the support, maintenance and evolution of the following applications: Social Welfare and Social Services (Social Services Area), School Constructions (Education Service), Preparation of the General Budget, Investment Financing and Management of financial liabilities (Service of Economic and Budgetary Direction), Management of the sanctioning procedure in traffic matters (Sanctions Service) and transversal Utilities of the Municipal Computing Service.
