"The Room of 092 has registered in this first week of the state of alarm a total of 6,000 calls, 2,000 more than in the same period of the previous year", reported today the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, who added that "at this time traffic in the municipality of Murcia has been reduced by between 80 and 90% â€.
The calls made by citizens have focused mainly on requesting information about confinement and incidents related to the state of alarm.
"Citizens receive immediate attention from the Murcia Local Police officers, who continue to work on the front line, to guarantee the safety and well-being of the half a million Murcians," the mayor thanked.
To the state of alarm, today the yellow alert has been added for intense rainfall in the municipality of Murcia, a situation from which it is constantly and updated reporting through the social networks of the Local Police and the Murcia City Council.
