Press release of the Real and Very Illustrious Superior Council of Brotherhoods of Murcia:
Gathered today, in extraordinary session, all the Presidents who make up this Council, and before the instructions and recommendations of the Health Authorities of our Region, agreed with the Mayor of the City of Murcia and with the approval of the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, the agreement to suspend the processions organized by the Brotherhoods of our City has been unanimously adopted, as well as all the events to be held on public roads in the days of Holy Week.
We unite with the request of our Bishop, so that we unite in prayer, personal and community, imploring the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, so that God will grant us the prompt overcoming of this pandemic.
