200 students from different educational centers in Murcia attend the culinary workshops of Mireia Ruiz, within the Garden Week 2020 (10/03/2020)

The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, today visited the healthy cooking workshop, 'Cooking Smiles', taught by the MasterChef 3 contestant, Mireia Ruiz Manresa.

200 students from various educational centers in Murcia will attend the different activities.

All workshops will be held in the Urban Garden of Santa Eulalia.

Mireia Ruiz offers eight workshops of healthy cooking, proximity and solar elaboration elaborated with ingredients of domestic cultivation in which the students will be able to learn, from Monday to Thursday during school hours, to cook a healthy recipe that includes ingredients of domestic cultivation, in a 90 minute class.

This recipe will be tailored to two demanding conditions incorporated for this 2020 edition: It will contain food collected live from the Urban Garden of Santa Eulalia itself and that have already been planted to guarantee its collection on schedule, and will include a part of solar processing through devices that will be installed for the occasion in the garden by the team of Huerta Bizarra.

This activity is part of the Garden Week that takes place in the municipality until March 15.
