Mario Gómez demands the withdrawal of the Mayor's decree against the administrative acts of the Department of Commerce, Markets and Public Road (06/03/2020)

The expository part of the decree refers to an overreach of functions and usurpation of powers by councilor Juan Fernando Hernández and questions the work of Urban Quality technicians, issues that have caused the malaise of the citizens of Citizens

The spokesman of Citizens and first deputy mayor, Mario Gómez, along with the councilman Juan Fernando Hernández, have demanded today, after the celebration of the Government Board, the immediate withdrawal of the decree issued by the Mayor José Ballesta on March 3 against the administrative acts of the Department of Commerce, Markets and Public Road.

For the councilors of Cs, "it is very serious that in the exhibition part of the aforementioned decree, the mayor made a worrying statement of reasons stating that the head of Public Road, Juan Fernando Hernández, exceeded his duties and exceeded his powers by signing two decrees that do not respond to the indications indicated in the agreement of the Governing Board of December 2018 ".

In this sense, both have expressed their discomfort "for allusions to the usurpation of competences and for having questioned the impeccable work that, in his opinion, the Urban Quality technicians have done".

"These extremes, Mario Gómez has pointed out," seem to us a nonsense because the truth has been lacking in doubt, both the work of the councilor responsible for Commerce, Market and Public Road, and the service technicians. "

Thus, the spokesman of Citizens has reiterated that "the responsible councilor has limited himself to processing the impeccable work, performed by the officials of this house, under the order of the Government Board of 2018, so it is not overreached nor has he usurped competencies. "

It is not defined as a singular space

For its part, the holder of Public Road has clarified that, for the preparation of plans, as established by the ordinance of occupation of Public Road, it is necessary to first define the space as singular, a circumstance that did not concur in the case of Alfonso X El Sabio , for not being so defined in the Plan for the Usage of Plazas and Singular Spaces of Murcia.

Therefore, he continued, "it was not only difficult to comply with the Mayor's decree that revoked those of Public Road, but also the agreement of the Governing Board today, without reforming the annex of the ordinance to include the Alfonso X El Paseo Wise as a singular space. "

"The PP has led to a situation of confusion for municipal technicians, so we have asked the Government Office to clarify the effects of what was approved today at the Government Board," he concluded.
