Students of 5th and 6th grade of Primary Education become small artists with the help of Nico Munuera (05/03/2020)

Students of Primary Education of the schools Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, La Arboleja and Los Alamos have attended today the activity 'Children and art - Create, express and paint', by Nico Munuera, which has taken place in the Almudí Palace.

This is one of the actions of # MurciaMiCiudadEnseña, the educational program of the City of Murcia and framed within the mediation project 'Origins', the exhibition of 52 pieces located in the municipal hall of the Plano de San Francisco.

The Councilor for Education and Infantile Schools, Belén López, together with the Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, visited the children this morning, belonging to the 5th and 6th grades of Primary Education.

"This is an initiative to bring art to the little ones by the hand of the authors themselves and that students can experience live what the artist's work consists of," said the head of Education.

The activity lasts for 40 minutes in which the creator shows up, explains his work and talks to the students about his experience.

After the didactic explanation, Nico Munuera offers a practical session in which children have to paint according to the artist's guidelines.
