The V Harvest Festival will take place on Sunday at the Youth Futura leisure garden with tastings and exhibitions of products grown by users
La Huerta Week starts this weekend with the inauguration of this fifth edition at the Contraparada Visitors Center on Saturday morning, with visits to the Casa Torre 'Adelante, you are at home' to be held on Saturday and Sunday afternoon and visits to organic gardens 'Open Orchards'.
To these actions are added the macro photography workshops in Alquerías, the environmental route along the meanders of the Segura River in Rincón de Seca and the Harvest Festival that will be held at the Youth Futura leisure garden, in Espinardo.
These actions organized by the Department of Sustainable Development and Huerta, directed by Antonio Navarro, and the Azacaya Association will make it possible for thousands of Murcia and visitors to know the most representative Huerta traditions, as well as raising awareness about the importance of maintaining the Huerta.
Daily schedule until March 15
On Saturday morning at 11 am at the Center for Visitors of the Contraparada, the inauguration of the Garden Week will be held with workshops and environmental games for the whole family and with a talk on 'La Riada de Santa Teresa: a catastrophe of 1879 in the Garden '.
On the same Saturday you will be able to know all the details of the wheel of the Ñora and the blue house of the Mill of Los Casianos with the guided tour of the activity 'Adelante, you are at home' at 17h.

There will also be a guided tour of the organic gardens 'Open gardens' in the Municipal Center of Rincon de Seca at 5pm, with a walk through the Puxmarina and San Pedro ditch, and the photographic exhibition 'Assáqya' of photographer Frédéric will be inaugurated Volkringer at the Alquerías Senior Social Center at 6pm.
