The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, has visited this morning the works of the new Camino del Palmeral Garden in Sangonera la Verde, belonging to the `Project for remodeling children's areas and coverage systems in districts through 10 lots' .
The mayor explains that "the area was damaged after the fall of rains, some damage that was not only unsightly, but also caused great discomfort and risk of falls to pedestrians."
For this reason, the project contemplates the creation of a new Camino del Palmeral Garden, of 1,387 square meters, whose work will focus on the complete replacement of pavement with cobblestones and deactivated concrete.
Likewise, the green spaces will be expanded with the creation of four new planters with concrete walls, which will serve as a seat for the neighbors, in addition to the placement of 12 new benches, as well as the planting of more woodland for the area.
The little ones will have a new children's play space, with modern and innovative elements, with security fencing around its perimeter, rubber pavement and a large pergola that will provide the shadow space.

The Mercantile Forum San Patricio is responsible for carrying out these actions with a budget of 87,386.66 euros (VAT included).
15 districts renew their green spaces
The City Council, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, is carrying out the remodeling of green areas in 15 districts of the municipality, some works belonging to the `Project for remodeling children's areas and coverage systems in districts through 10 lots'.
The locations where the works are being carried out are: Baños y Mendijo, La Ñora, Sangonera la Verde, LLano de Brujas, Zeneta, Cabezo de Torres, Rincón de Seca, San Pío X, San José de la Vega, El Palmar, Corvera, Aljucer, Algezares, Los Martínez del Puerto and Puente Tocinos.
