Almost seven thousand high school students participate in this course in the guided tours to get to know the UMU (28/02/2020)

Nearly seven thousand high school students will pass through the University of Murcia in the coming weeks to participate in guided tours of the institution's campuses.

These are visits that complement the talks that the University Information Service makes to secondary school students in the institutes and offers them a more concrete vision of what are the faculties that interest them and the services offered by the institution.

With all this information, they can face more decision-making about the career they will choose in the coming months.

This year the forecast is to receive a total of 113 schools, 101 of them from the Region of Murcia, eight from the province of Alicante and four from Albacete.

A total of 6,700 students and three hundred teachers will pass through the UMU.

The first of these visits took place on February 21 and will take place weekly until the end of March.

Those who participate in this activity may, in addition to knowing spaces and services, speak with teachers and students of the degrees that interest them most.

The visits begin at the Monte Romero soccer field of the Espinardo Campus and, after the reception of the Vice Chancellor of Students, Paloma Sobrado, groups are organized so that each student can visit that faculty that arouses more interest.
