The University of Murcia opens this Thursday, February 27, the exhibition 'Marcia' by Julieta Valera, winner of the XVIII edition of the University of Murcia-La Cámara Roja Photography Award, in the production modality, which she has been in charge of The Red Chamber

The event will take place in the ES / UM space (Paraninfo of La Merced Campus), at 20 hours.

This photographic project encompasses the concept of territory and is based on the human relationship with spaces and places.

In the words of the artist, with this exhibition "I intend to explore the area where I reside, Murcia, from a different perspective, adopting the point of view of the space exploration vehicle of the planet Mars, Curiosity".

Through this new approach, "I intend to emulate a hostile landscape, with a strange and disturbing atmosphere, like another planet ... In this way, the images conceptually synthesize the way I felt when I arrived in Murcia, a Martian place, according to my perception. "

The sample can be visited until March 31 from Monday to Friday, from 11 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.
