The socialist councilor Enrique Lorca recalls that the Public Sector Contract Law requires planning to avoid precisely expiration and, therefore, difficulties with the provision of the service that is, "in short, what worries us"
The Socialist Municipal Group is interested in the imminent expiration of the contract for the placement of chairs and stands on public roads on the occasion of the Holy Week, Spring Festival and September Fair parades, since "as we have learned, no precisely because of the information shared by the government team, the contract ends at the beginning of March, so I think we are already late for the new one, "says Councilman Enrique Lorca.
In this regard, he points out that "we are collecting the restlessness of different groups, that at this point, just over a month after the first procession of the Holy Week in Murcia, nothing is known about the new contract."
Therefore, Lorca has sent a communication to the Department, responsible for the aforementioned contract, directed by Jesús Pacheco, to "clarify the current situation of the specifications because we suspect that we are not acting with foresight and agility."
