The Councilor for Development, Mario Gómez, has met again with the Councilors of City Development and Historical Heritage and the Urban Development of Alcantarilla, Laura Sandoval and José Luis Bernal, respectively, to advance in the construction project of a roundabout at the intersection of the West Industrial Estate with the main avenue that eliminates a very dangerous black spot where accidents occur.
As it is a crossroads where the territorial limit of both administrations, Murcia and Alcantarilla, meets, both consistories are working together to sign a collaboration agreement that allows an old demand to be carried out that will reduce the number of accidents in and speed up traffic in the area at peak times.
Likewise, the person in charge of Development recalled that his Department will address the implementation of a comprehensive action plan for the progressive renovation of infrastructure and improvement of security in the West Industrial Estate.
"The administrations have the obligation to recover these abandoned industrial areas with the excuse of the economic crisis and support the businessmen there," said Mario Gomez, who has insisted on the need to "continue to propose joint solutions from the two municipalities to improve the conditions of this industrial zone. "
