The special device launched by the City Council returns normality to the town center after the passage of the agricultural sector demonstration (21/02/2020)

The special traffic, cleaning and transport safety device implemented by the City Council on the occasion of the manifestation of the agricultural sector has managed to restore normality in the urban area after the manifestation of the agricultural sector.

Currently there is no road cut to traffic and throughout the morning the members of the Traffic Group, supported by personnel from the Barrio Police and the GESC, from the Local Police, have worked to control the flow of traffic.

The roads that during the morning have had to be cut to traffic have been Callejón Burruezo, Acisclo Díaz, Gran Vía, Plaza Circular towards Avenida de la Constitución, and Jaime I Street, Avenida Teniente Flomesta, Plano de San Francisco, Paseo de Garay and adjacent streets.

Traffic has been smooth in the rounds and avenues of access to the city.

Since the early hours of the morning, the local police have maintained a specific traffic control and regulation device that has covered the area between:

1. North Zone: Avenida Juan Carlos I with Avda, de los Pinos / Plaza Circular .;

and avda.

Juan de Borbón with Avda.

Abenarabi / Ronda de Levante with avda.

First of May.

2. West Zone: c / Juan de la Cierva / Plano de San Francisco.

3. East Zone: Garay Walk with Hospital Bridge / Red Cross square.

4. South Zone: c / Hernández del Águila / Puente Pasarela.

As for the urban bus service, it has been completely restored around 3 pm.

The lines that have undergone alterations during the morning have been R17, C5 and R20 that for a few hours have not been able to circulate.

The R12 line is making a shuttle from Los Garres to El Infante, the R14 from Joven Futura to San Andrés passing through San Antón and the R80 from Ronda Sur to El Infante.

Although throughout the morning the tram has had partial services from Juan Carlos I stop in the direction of universities and from the Circular Square towards Nueva Condomina, the service is currently re-established.

In addition, the Road Cleaning Service, and in coordination with the Local Police, has worked to cover the needs that arose after the demonstration.

Thus, the entire route has been cleaned with mechanical means with special emphasis on the door of the Government Delegation where protesters have overturned broccoli trucks.
