The Committee for Suggestions and Complaints will submit to the Government Board the draft of the Organic Regulations (19/02/2020)

The Special Committee on Suggestions and Claims, chaired by the Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government Mercedes Bernabé, held an ordinary session this morning in which, in addition to approving the minutes of the previous session, has reported raising the draft Regulation Organic of the Special Committee of Suggestions and Claims to the Government Board for approval and subsequent passage by the Plenary.

After the last session held in December, the Commission continued with the participation process with the presentation of the draft on the municipal website for public consultation.

Thus, having not received any contribution, it has been determined in today's session its elevation to the Government Board and subsequent ratification in the plenary session of the month of March.

The last step will be its publication in the BORM for its entry into force.

"This regulation will try to control the operation of the activity of said commission, created for the defense of the rights of the neighbors before the municipal administration," said Mercedes Bernabé.

2019 Annual Report of Complaints and Suggestions

Another issue discussed in the commission today has been the presentation of the 2019 Annual Report of the Municipal Office of Suggestions and Claims, managed through the Citizen Information and Attention Service, which coordinates the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government.

In this way, this annual report reflects that in 2019 a total of 8,369 requests were made through its different service channels: complaints and suggestions through 010 (2,970);

Likewise, the TuMurcia application is consolidated as the main means of communication through its notices and trips between the citizens of the municipality and the municipality (60.50%)

The document also offers a comparison of each of the quarters, as well as the most frequent types of issues.

Thus, the report performs a detailed analysis of the ten services with the highest number of complaints and suggestions.

In this sense, according to the data collected through the telephone 010, a total of 2,970 applications from urban cleaning, parks and gardens, street lamps, police, health, traffic, works in districts, sewage, parks and gardens-STV are broken down urgencies and works.
