Councilwoman Esther Nevado denounces that officials have to use their vehicle or mobile phone to work because they are not provided by the Department, apart from that they must serve a population of 10,000 or 15,000 people when the ratio is 3,000 users

The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group Esther Nevado has visited Social Services facilities in which users are served daily, most of them in a situation of vulnerability, and has found important deficiencies that slow down the work of the officials and that does not guarantee a minimum of Accessibility and security.

Therefore, the councilor wonders how having a 30 percent population at risk of social exclusion "we do not have impeccable services where officials and users find the best environment and with all resources", since "the proper functioning of social services is a guarantee that the system works, and to fulfill its preventive and corrective function of inequalities it is necessary that it be recognized and valued by public administrations. "

At this point, Snowy remembers that tomorrow, February 20, marks the World Day of Social Justice, whose motto this year is "Close the gap of inequalities to achieve social justice."

In this regard, he declares that "we cannot allow a social worker, mostly women, in a City Council such as Murcia, to develop their activity in inadequate facilities, even shabby, in claustrophobic, poorly communicated, sometimes labyrinthine offices, where it is complicated to preserve the privacy of the users.
