For decent work ', which will take place in the Paraninfo of the La Merced campus, at 7 pm.

The Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility of the UMU organizes this session where the labor inclusion of people with severe mental disorder in the Region of Murcia will be analyzed through the Euroemployment program of the Murcia Health Service.

Euroemployment is an innovative experience whose objective is the incorporation of people with mental disorders or drug addicts to facilitate their social and labor recovery process.

In this way, they promote positive attitudes in the business, healthcare and Murcian society in general that favor the employability of these people.

This program has follow-up and support strategies to allow the labor insertion of the participants, as well as for the maintenance and improvement of their work activity, so that psychiatric patients reduce the number of hospitalizations and days of admission, as well as the use of psychoactive drugs.

The rector of the UMU, José Luján, accompanied by the Minister of Health, Manuel Villegas, will open the event at 7 pm.

After the presentation, the round table 'In the first person' will take place, in which the Euroemployment coordinator and psychiatrist José Antonio Peñalver will take part.

Next, the artistic group formed by María Reyes Aznar and Ramón Vergara will liven up the talk with a musical moment, mixing poetry and flamenco.

The closing will be carried out by Pedro Juan Martín, director of Social Programs of the CSR Chair of the UMU.

After organizing thematic activities on 'End of poverty' (SDG 1), 'Zero hunger' (SDG 2), 'Health and Wellbeing' (SDG 3), 'Quality education' (SDG 4), 'Gender equality '(SDG 5),' Clean water and sanitation '(SDG 6) and' Affordable and non-polluting energy '(SDG 7), this February the program focuses on SDG 8:' Decent work and economic growth '.
