Presentation of the poster of the Burial of the Sardine 2020 (15/02/2020)

The Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports, Cristina Sánchez, together with the mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, participated today in the presentation of the poster of the 'Burial of the Sardine 2020', by the lumbrerense artist Marcos Salvador Romera.

Likewise, and as a novelty, it was announced that on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of this party, declared of International Tourist Interest in 2006, Sardine will not arrive in the city from another municipality in the Region, as usual, but will depart from Cardenal Square Belluga from the San Antolín neighborhood of Murcia.

During the presentation of the poster, Cristina Sánchez highlighted the differentiating nature of this party, “which adds to the tourist attractions that make this Region a unique destination.

The Burial of the Sardine, its characters, the mixture of color, sound, and this year, in which the gastronomy is an important point with the Capital, its flavor, will be the ideal scenario to let ourselves be carried away by the fun â€.

Also, the counselor stressed "the great tourist weight of this party, which attracts visitors, as we have seen in previous editions, and gives an economic boost to the sector generating positive figures, consumption and overnight stays."
