The neighborhood will expand its residential areas, will have a children's play area and a bike path that will connect you to the city center.

The Parks and Gardens service last year adapted the land with the construction of a lawn meadow for neighborhood use and enjoyment.

The new residential will be an important commitment to the regeneration and potential of the neighborhood, giving it more green areas and making a safe, pleasant and accessible place.

Barriomar will improve its green spaces and will have new children's areas with the implementation of the final urbanization of the environment, specifically where the lands of 'La Molinera' were located, between the neighborhood and access to the highway from the Alcantarilla road.

The City Council, through the Parks and Gardens service, under the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, already carried out last year the adaptation of the land with the installation of a grass meadow for use and enjoyment of the neighbors.

From now on, with the start-up of the urbanization in which the construction of 222 homes is planned, Barriomar continues with the improvement works of its green areas with its integration in the Chimney Garden and with the creation of a New playground for children.

The actions have begun with the construction of two access roads, which will allow a reorganization of this important space that will link Barriomar with the center and the large West Park of the city, of about 200,000 m2.

Also, work continues today with the installation of sanitation services.

Specifically, in coordination with the City Council and the promoter of the action, the environment between the Alcantarilla road and the river speck will be improved with the expansion of new green areas, the planting of new trees, the construction of a bike lane and a pedestrian itinerary that will connect Barriomar with the city center through the gangway of the Artillery barracks and the River Walk.

The new residential will be carried out in three phases and will be an important commitment to the regeneration and potential of the neighborhood, giving it more green areas and making a safe, pleasant and accessible place.
