Ramón González shows his work in the Artistic Laboratory of Carmen (12/02/2020)

The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, opens this afternoon, at 8.30 pm, the exhibition 'Immanence' by the artist Ramón González, under the curatorial office of Pedro López Morales, which can be visited until March 3.

The exhibition combines different artistic techniques such as video art and ink and graphite on paper or acrylic, with which the artist produces a series of sensations around the parade 'Jardin d´Hiver' of the Murcia firm De la Cierva & Nicolás that he had place a few weeks ago in the LAC space itself and where the author took sketches and developed what is now part of this exhibition.

Ramón González was living with the designer during the elaboration process as well as the subsequent parade of the costumes.

The 'Immanence' collection consists of 28 drawings and paintings;

two digital images printed on paper;

a video-art that has been filmed as an explicit animation in LOOP, with a duration of six minutes;

and four installations of various kinds: a wooden frame with tulle, oil and guoache;

two cardboard tubes with acrylic and ink remains;

two unfinished monoculars of a fine thread and a symbolic representation of the woman devised in wood and tulle.

In addition, a polydiptic has been created that will be given to the attendees at the inauguration, manually operated by the author.

Jesús Pacheco has highlighted "the importance of combining different disciplines in the same space as the Carmen Artistic Laboratory, which since its inauguration a year ago has programmed a large number of events related to art, as well as projects that have come out of its own space, fully developed there and then presented in the exhibition halls enabled for this purpose. "

Ramón González is a multidisciplinary artist.

In his latest compositions he is making, a reflection is established with the natural process between the atmospheric elements, in relation to the human body as an existential and identity commitment.

Some of his works are the result of inquiries through a reflection of the ephemeral, from the material to the immaterial, from the temporal to the timeless, from the figurative to the abstract raised from the video art and installation.

He has made almost twenty individual exhibitions in Murcia, in Madrid, Toledo, New York, Puerto Rico, Shanghai and many other collective participations in Spain and other countries.

In the field of Visual Arts he has been recognized with the First Young Murcia Prize 2007, the Emerging Art scholarships for the Winery (Casa Pintada Museum) or the Special Jury Prize at the IBAFF 2013.

Between 2009 and 2010 he has participated in ARCO twice and CIRCA in Puerto Rico in the field of international contemporary art fairs with installation works.
