Alquibla versiona to Shakespeare in the key of swing in 'A lot of noise about nothing', which arrives at the TCM from February 13 to 16 (12/02/2020)

The Teatro Circo Murcia (TCM) hosts from tomorrow, Thursday, February 13, 'Much noise about nothing', a free and musical version of the Shakespeare classic 'Much noise and few nuts', which will be staged until Sunday the Alquibla Teatro company, in co-production with the Romea / TCM theaters.

This proposal by Alquibla, through the version of Alba Saura and the direction of Antonio Saura, seeks the balance between tradition and innovation.

Exploiting also the scenic possibilities they found in the famous comedy, its fast-paced and crazy rhythm, its scathing dialogues and humor.

A loving debauchery that is represented here at the rhythm of swing and through the dances Lindy Hope.

Nine actors and five live musicians help transform the stage into a delicious space inspired by the great New York venues of 39. On the dance floor of the Messina Jazz Club, where a party of lindyhopers animated by the showman JIVE and his band will be held The Coconuths

A party attended by friends and acquaintances;

Among them, Beatriz and Benedict, protagonists of a duel of the sexes, and Hero and Claudio, victims of a cruel love story.

Children's and family theater

The other proposal of the TCM week will arrive on Sunday morning and is intended for children between 1 and 5 years.

This is 'Delicias de un Sueño', by Ñas Teatro, which will be performed in the small room at 11 am and 12 noon.

Through the work of El Bosco and his painting 'The Garden of Earthly Delights', this montage proposes viewers -small and adults- to enter the world of dreams, where fantastic and fun beings live and where objects charge lifetime.

'Delights of a dream' brings the world of art closer to children through play.

It is a proposal of theater for babies that tries to awaken their senses, giving way to imagination and inviting them to feel and enjoy painting and art.

Tickets are on sale for 6 euros.

Another family proposal is the one that will take place at the Romea Theater on Friday, February 14 (7:00 p.m.): 'The 4 seasons ... are no longer what they were', a musical show by Teatro Che y Moche.

A 'climatological comedy' created from the universal music of Vivaldi.

A peculiar concert turned into a scenic hurricane full of surprises and where humor, technology, theatrical tradition and instrumental virtuosity will shake hands to reflect on climate change.

Music

The offer of theaters in Murcia capital is completed with two musical proposals at the Romea Theater.

On Saturday, February 15 (9 pm), Juan Valderrama will present his show 'Women of flesh and verse', with which he claims poetry in feminine through a journey that covers 26 centuries: from classical Greece to the present day, with authors like Safo de Mitelene, Sr. Juana Inés de la Cruz, Rosalia de Castro, Gloria Fuertes, Gabriela Mistral and Elvira Sastre, among others.

Tickets can be purchased for 12, 15 and 18 euros.

The other musical montage will be starred by Serafín Zubiri and the musical group 'Las Musas' de Guadalupe.

On the stage of Romea, on Sunday, February 16 (9 pm), they will remember Nino Bravo performing some of the most emblematic songs of the Valencian artist.

10, 15 and 20 euros is the price of tickets.

Bernal Theater

The Bernal Theater in El Palmar will host three shows this week.

The first, on Friday, February 14 (9 pm), will be 'Otro Quijote +?', By Nacho Vilar Producciones.

Jorge Fullana is the stage director of this poetic and evocative montage that brings the great Cervantes classic to the youth and adult audience, respecting the language and the text, but making it more accessible and fun, as well as emotional and heartbreaking.

Hand in hand with The Cross Border Project, the Bernal will host on Saturday, February 15 (9 pm), a forum theater show.

It is a story that will be created among all, making the audience a 'spect-actor', and that reflects on issues such as the choice of profession or how much sex influences this election.

Tickets are also available for 6 and 8 euros.

The children's proposal will come again on Sunday morning (12 hours) with 'I am a mouse', a musical show that stands out from the usual patterns of children with lyrics that claim to give children a voice.

Tickets are priced at 4 euros.
