The Governing Board has given its approval to the specifications to contract the theatrical guided tours service in English, French and German, for secondary and high school students in the municipality of Murcia.
This new service will be carried out after the success of the pilot experience carried out in 2017 by the Youth Service.
The objective is to send students the knowledge of history, art and customs of the town, showing them both monumental and non-monumental material heritage, while allowing them to put into practice the study of another language.
In this way, a theatrical stage is added to the classic guided tour in which young people will not just listen to the explanations, but can acquire a much more active and participatory role, interacting with the characters, offering them a closer approach to culture. , art and languages.
Young people can thus complement the education they receive in their centers with non-formal learning that provides them with the possibility of practicing them through recreational activities.
Visits will take place on business days (Monday through Friday), during the school year (from October to May) and will last approximately two hours.
The groups will be formed by a maximum of 35 young people according to age and language criteria.
The maximum total contract budget is 58,080 euros for an estimated maximum total of 120 visits per year.
