The IV tasting of the Jumilla PDO lands this afternoon at the headquarters of Murcia Spanish Capital of Gastronomy (06/02/2020)

This afternoon will be held at 20:00 at the headquarters of Murcia Spanish Capital of Gastronomy the fourth tasting of the Jumilla Protected Designation of Origin with San Dionisio wineries by Pedro Sarrión López, after the success of the previous tastings of Bodegas Luzón, Juan Gil and Ego wineries.

The 35 registered on the web events.murcia.es can taste for free the wines of this winery belonging to the Jumilla PDO and will know the products of this winery founded in 1957 located in Fuente Álamo.

Its vine growers cultivate almost 5,500 hectares of vineyards with a varietal fan in which the monastrell is the native variety occupying 75% of the extension of this vineyard.

The remainder is destined to syrah, petit verdot, garnacha tintorera, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, tempranillo, garnacha as varieties of red grapes, in addition to macabeo, airén, sauvignon blanc, verdejo, chardonnay, muscatel of degree often, or malvasía as varieties of White grape.

The tasting next week, on February 13, will be from the Esencia Wines Cellars group a winery created in 1999 in the foothills of the Sierra del Carche Regional Park.
