Verónica Forqué returns to the TCM with 'The things that I know are true', a new text by Bovell directed by Fuentes Reta (06/02/2020)

The Teatro Circo Murcia (TCM) hosts this Friday, February 7 (9 pm), the representation of a new text by Andrew Bovell directed by Julián Fuentes Reta.

'The things that I know are true' is the following work written by the Australian playwright after 'When it stops raining', a montage that could be seen at the TCM in 2016 and was the winner in the XVIII edition of the Max Awards .

Bovell and Fuentes Reta join forces again in an assembly that has Verónica Forqué as one of the protagonists and that delves into family relationships and relationships, fissures and links of people with nature;

in those things that are beyond knowledge and human domain.

Bob and Frank, protagonists of the text, have worked hard all their lives so that their four children have the opportunities they never had.

Their children begin to make their decisions, they have their own lives, and it seems that the time has come for them to relax and enjoy themselves, but changing the seasons of the year, as a metaphor for the changes that occur in life, will bring hidden truths.

Tickets for 'The things I know are true' can be purchased, for 15, 18 and 22 euros, at the TCM box office (open Tuesday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: 30 hours, and two hours before the start of the performance) and through the website www.teatrocircomurcia.es.

For Saturday afternoon (19 hours), the TCM proposes a family show by Truca Circus: 'Neon'.

On any given night, any bedroom becomes a dimensional portal from which two brothers will begin a cosmic journey.

They will thus become interstellar travelers who jump between satellites, planets, comets and stars.

Between small luminous asteroids, hulahops that communicate different universes or a cyr wheel capable of propelling them to outer space at vertigo speed.

Tickets can be obtained again at the box office and on the Internet, this time for 6 euros, and there is still the possibility of acquiring the Circus Ticket, with which, for only 27.75 euros, you can attend the following shows : 'Neon', by Truca Circus;

'Juggling Orchestra', by Cía.

Pistachio;

'Sweat & Ink', by Barcode Circus (Canada) and, finally, 'And now what?', By Puntocero Company.

Another family proposal, on this occasion of theater, arrives from the Romea Theater for Sunday, February 9 (18 hours).

This is the scenic version of Raquel Díaz Reguera's famous book 'I go with me', made by Paco Mir and directed by actress Cristina Alcázar and Cristina Delgado.

A text that launches the question of how far we are willing to go to please others and whether it is worth changing just for that purpose.

The protagonist of the story is Sol, a special girl, with wings and many birds on her head, who likes Martín;

But he seems not to see her.

His friends advise him to change his appearance and personality so that Martin can repair her, and Sol seems willing to do everything: to take off his pigtails, glasses, freckles, birds from his head ... and even his wings.

Tickets are on sale, for 8, 12 and 14 euros, at the Romea Theater box office (open Tuesday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and from two hours before start of representation) and at www.teatroromea.es.

The offer of theaters in Murcia capital is completed with Zenet and its presentation tour of 'La Guapería', which will arrive in Romea on Saturday, February 8 (9:00 p.m.).

Malaga musician and actor Antonio Mellado, Zenet, returns to the stage with his album of versions of old Cuban boleros;

maintaining its essence but bringing them closer to the present and giving them their personal style.

Tickets are on sale, through the same channels, for 20, 22 and 25 euros.

Bernal Theater

The Bernal Theater of El Palmar, which began its new program last week after the change in its management - currently linked to the Romea / TCM Theaters - will schedule a humor show this weekend and, as usual , will dedicate Sunday morning to children and family audiences.

The first proposal will take place on Friday, February 7 (9 pm), and in it, the actor Rafael Maza, turned into Fabiolo de la Mora y Leja, will tell how he lives 'Walking on the most posh side of life'.

Gummed hair, more money than neurons, a racket always on the attack and a "what turkey" continually coming out of his mouth ... Fabiolo is an Olympic and classy posh.

From your hand, we will know what is done in the mentideros of power and the famous family and, on stage, will tell us the latest in gastronomy and beauty and reflect on the most varied issues of political and economic news.

Tickets for this humor monologue are on sale, for 6 and 8 euros, at the box office of the Bernal Theater (open on Thursdays and Fridays, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and from two hours before the start of the function) and can also be purchased online, through the website www.teatrobernal.com.

The children's proposal will arrive on Sunday, February 9 (12 hours) with Teatro Paraíso and its show 'Xocolat'.

A sweet scenic surprise for small spectators (especially for children between 2 and 5 years old) that becomes a song to the pleasure of living, imagining and browsing.

Tickets are priced at 4 euros.
