The Councilor for Social and Family Rights, Pilar Torres, has visited the conciliation centers of the Cabezo de Torres and Puente Tocinos districts.

"The Murcia conciliation centers offer an important work of help to the families so that they can combine their work with the raising of the children and favor the inclusion of the fathers and mothers in the labor world in equal conditions", pointed out Torres.

Currently, the Tocinos Bridge Center has 12 dining scholarships and 7 minors are exempt from paying fees, while the Cabezo de Torres Center has 7 dining scholarships and 13 minors exempt from paying fees.

The services are distinguished according to the ages of the children: from Children under 16 weeks up to 2 years old they are offered a Nursery School Service in the morning and afternoon hours and, from 3 to 16 years old, they have care services that They are complemented by the teaching hours of the teaching centers.

The Conciliation Centers have various services such as Infant School (from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.), Ludoteca during the school period (from 3.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.);

Holidays of the Educational Administration and Vacation Schools (Christmas, Spring, June and September from 8.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and from 3.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.);

Summer School (July and August from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) and Breathing service on individual days (maximum of 4 hours per day).

The conditions to access the conciliation centers are that the children are between 16 weeks and 16 years old, that they are registered in the municipality of Murcia and that their mothers and fathers are working, conducting training courses or actively seeking employment.

The application must be submitted by the parents in the Center that are interested accompanied by the certificate of registration, the company certificate or accreditation of the course and the annual income certificate.

It can also be done through the Sections and Centers of Social Welfare and Social Services.
