Murcia exceeds half a hundred areas of canine recreation with a new ´pipican´ in Churra (04/02/2020)

These places promote, in addition to the care of pets, the exercise of animals and the socialization of the owners.

Parks and Gardens will carry out actions to improve the green spaces of the village with maintenance, planting of new plant species and renovation of urban furniture.

Councilor José Guillén explains that the work in the green spaces is constant and daily, "because these are places very busy by neighbors, leisure and enjoyment, which must remain with the appropriate security measures and offer the best services."

The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, has met with the president of the municipal board of Churra, Josefa Cascales, to discuss some issues to improve the parks and gardens of the district.

In this way, one of the issues discussed at the meeting has been the construction of a new canine recreation area in the hamlet, also known as 'pipican'.

In addition, the Parks and Gardens service will carry out various improvement and remodeling actions of some of its green spaces.

Thus, it is planned to plant new trees on Doctor Fleming Street.

Likewise, revegetation work will be carried out in the Barrios de los Reyes Magos Garden with the replacement of shrub species, such as hedges, in addition to the renovation of urban furniture, as well as the lighting of the area.

Another of the issues discussed will be improvements in the José Fusteros Garden with the maintenance of its green spaces, but also the renovation of the gerontogimnasia zone, incorporating new elements of exercises for the elderly.

Councilor José Guillén explains that “the work in the green spaces is constant and daily for this session, as these are places very busy by the neighbors, leisure and enjoyment, which must remain with the appropriate security measures and offer the best services".
