The Councilor for Seniors, Disability and Development Cooperation, Paqui Pérez, today presented, together with the president of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Murcia, José Luis Marco, a day that will address the reality of the elderly "Our elders. Two faces. of the same coin. "

This day, centered on the reality of the elderly, will be next Thursday, February 5, at 5:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the Senior Social Center of the San Antón neighborhood.

The opening of the meeting will be carried out by the Minister of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy of the CARM, Isabel Franco.

Also participating by videoconference, members of CEOMA (Spanish Confederation of Organizations of Older Organizations) who will talk about the program "National strategy based on proximity";

of the Federation of Associations of Barrio de Zaragoza, which will transfer their experiences and research on the treatment of the elderly in all social spheres, and from the Madrid Platform Association for the Dignity of the Elderly in the Residences (PLADIGMARE), as well as representatives of the Federation of Associations of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients of the Region of Murcia (FFEDARM), Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Murcia (FAVMURCIA), Association of Widows "La Milagrosa" of Espinardo and the Federation of Centers for the Elderly of the municipality of Murcia, among others.

The presentation on "Attention to the elderly in the Region of Murcia" will be given by the IMAS manager, Raquel Cancela;

Platform for the Dignity of the Elderly
