The University of Murcia inaugurates next Tuesday, January 28, the 'I University Specialist Course in Business Equality Agent at the RSC', which will take place in the degree room of the Faculty of Economics and Business, at 16: 30 hours.

The event will be attended, among others, by Alicia Rubio, Vice Chancellor for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society of the UMU;

Manuela Marín, general director of Social Dialogue and Labor Welfare of the Region of Murcia;

Ramón Avilés, Deputy Secretary General of CROEM;

María del Carmen Sánchez;

secretary of the Faculty of Economics and Business;

Pedro J. Cuesta, head of formation of the Chair of CSR of the UMU;

and Ana Jiménez-Alfaro, course coordinator.

Given the growing need for specific training within the business field in the field of equal opportunities for women and men, the CSR Chair of the University of Murcia launches the first course of Agent for Business Equality, in collaboration with the Regional Confederation of Organizations Empresariales de Murcia (CROEM) and the General Directorate of Social Dialogue and Labor Welfare of the Ministry of Employment, Research and Universities of the CARM, which will be taught from January 28 to April 28, 2020.

The course deals with equal opportunities between women and men as another dimension of the CSR of companies, responding to the latest legal requirements in this area and establishing the basis for the development of equality plans.

The objective is to provide specific training that enables students to carry out the tasks of the Business Equality Agent, a key and fundamental element for the incorporation of a gender perspective in the company.
