The project, which will begin next week, includes the incorporation of more woodland and shrub species, the renovation of street furniture and the improvement of the irrigation system.

Another of the actions will be the remodeling of the leisure area for the little ones, which will feature a textile pergola and the placement of innovative game elements.

"The increase of the vegetal mass is one of the important improvements of this space, in which we will increase the number of trees and shrubs to make this environment a much healthier and more pleasant place for the neighbors", points out José Guillén.

The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, met this morning with the president of the Municipal Board of El Palmar, Verónica Sánchez, to present the projects that are going to be carried out in the district, as well as Improvement actions in its green areas.

In this way, the largest project will be the remodeling of La Paz Park.

The works, which will begin next week, contemplate a substantial improvement in their appearance with the design of new green spaces, with the planting of trees and shrub species, the completion of the sidewalk, the renovation of urban furniture and the construction of a new area of children's games.

"The objective of this project is for El Palmar to recover this emblematic area of the village, providing it with better services and rooms for neighborhood rest, surrounded by greenery and with modern architectural elements," highlights José Guillén.

Thus, it highlights the creation of a perimeter curb, accompanied by large planters that will serve to increase the park's green areas and at the same time separate traffic from children's spaces and passing routes.

In addition, through the lower part of the park, banks will appear that will generate small squares of neighborhood distraction.

"The increase in plant mass is one of the important improvements of this space, in which we will increase the number of trees and shrub species to make this environment a much healthier and more pleasant place for neighbors," says José Guillén.

The project will begin to be executed next week with a total budget of 141.605 euros.
