The University of Murcia inaugurates this Tuesday, January 21, the installation 'La puta ama' by Alissia (María Penalva), which will take place in the La Capilla room (ground floor, Convalescence building), at 20 hours.
Alissia, researcher of Art and Gender at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, explains that this work is a "contemporary representation of Circe as a protofeminist archetype".
Through objects, drawings, illustrations, collages and embroideries, "the installation addresses the body and territory, formalizing as a bedroom for a contemporary Circe."
The exhibition, curated by Isabel Tejeda, will remain on display until March 20, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
