Mario Gómez meets with the Citmusa Conservation Urban Entity to seek consensual solutions (19/01/2020)

The Councilor for Development, Mario Gómez, has met with the president and secretary of the Urban Conservation Entity of the Integrated Transport Center of Murcia (Eucit) to know on the spot a series of problems that are being denounced by the entrepreneurs installed there and that derive , according to them, of the urbanization works managed by the Integrated Transport Center of Murcia (Citmusa), the public company whose share capital is distributed equally, in more than 98%, the City of Murcia and the INFO.

The main deficiencies are related to the fire fighting network, storm drain systems, sidewalks and highway accesses, as well as the definitive reception of urbanization works.

This first phase of the Integrated Transport Center of Murcia covers an area of ​​450,000 meters and brings together important companies in the transport and logistics sector.

The person in charge of Development, Mario Gómez, who has attended this meeting accompanied by municipal technicians, has committed himself with the Urban Conservation Entity of the Integrated Transport Center (Eucit) to work to find an urgent and definitive solution.

For their part, the representatives of the Eucit have informed the mayor of Development of their willingness to dialogue and thanked him for his visit and the interest shown.

Also, they have informed him that, after a decade of good words and no response, a year ago that the Urban Entity filed a lawsuit against the developer (Citmusa) for the shortcomings of urbanization;

whose amount exceeds, according to the plaintiffs, 1.8 million euros.

The meeting ended with a tour of the polygon to know all the demands made and the commitment of the mayor of Development to seek, together with Citmusa, INFO, EMUASA, the City of Murcia and the Eucit, solutions to their claims in the most Fair possible for all parties.

"With the entry of the new manager, I am convinced that society will recover its activity and that we will be able to reach future agreements," said Gomez.
