The councilor of Pedanías y Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández, has visited this morning the works that are being carried out in the Algezares district on the construction of sports courts and skate areas.
The works were awarded in November last year and will be completed by next summer, as planned.
In this way, the works contemplate the execution of a multisport zone on a municipal plot of 2,900 square meters, where an artificial turf soccer field will be built, with a dimension of 47 x 25 meters.
The skate park will have different polished concrete ramps, forming a central island that will allow you to run different routes and movements and a mini-basketball court, attached to the skate area.
The works will also have exterior enclosures and pre-installation of electricity for the execution of changing rooms.
"With these actions we continue to improve the benefits and services of our districts and neighborhoods, thus favoring the improvement of the quality of life of the neighbors", highlights the councilor of Pedanías and Barrios, Marco Antonio Fernández.
The company Desarrollos Técnicos del Levante is responsible for the execution of the works with a budget of 225,520 euros.
This action is part of the Extraordinary Plan for Investments in Pedanías coordinated by the Department of Pedanías and Barrios.
