The Christmas Tree hosts tomorrow the collection of Regional Wave toys (28/12/2019)

The Great Christmas Tree of the Circular Square hosts tomorrow an act of collecting toys by Regional Wave from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is an initiative framed in the radio station of 'First-time and Brave', coordinated by journalist Elvira Sánchez Bernal with the educator Cristina Valdés, on parenting.

The station will move to the Circular Plaza to broadcast the program, share the testimony of people who want to collaborate, as well as help in the promotion of this activity.

Onda Regional organizes for the second consecutive year this act in collaboration with the City of Murcia, which will then be responsible for delivering the toys to the NGOs so that they can deliver them to the neediest children.

Several companies collaborate with the act of collecting gifts from Onda Regional.

The entities donate products to deliver to the children who come tomorrow to participate with the donation of toys.

So far it has the collaboration of Faroliva, Potatoes Pijo, Más Trigo, Helen Doron, Hero, Niceday, Fripozo, WelcomeBees, Juver and Estrella de Levante.

"Our Christmas Tree is the fun meeting point for adults and children, but it is also an environment of learning and solidarity, in which the generosity of Murcia is evident one more year", highlights the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén.

Solidarity point on the Christmas Tree

The Circular Plaza tree continues to receive toys from the little ones that will be delivered to disadvantaged children.

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, will next week deliver toys to Cáritas, Secretariat and Cepaim Foundation (participants of the Caixa proinfancia Child Poverty Program), Asociación Educa, Accem and Red Cross, which in turn will distribute them Among those who need it most.

The solidarity point of the Circular Square tree is kept open at the same time as the workshops.

The little ones can deliver the toys that they no longer use and in return they will receive gold coins.

For her part, the Councilor for Social Rights and Family, Pilar Torres, highlights the important work of the people who are participating in this action and thanks the associations and groups that work every year so that no child is left without a gift at Christmas.
