"Ballesta and the Popular Party have us in groundhog day" (27/12/2019)

The spokesman of the group, Ginés Ruiz Maciá, has considered "a tease that the mayor celebrates projects that do not start decades later, and policies that have failed to improve the lives of Murcia and Murcia."

From the municipal group Podemos-Equo they have made a negative assessment of the year 2019 in the municipal policies that the Popular Party, and for a few months, Citizens, have carried out in Murcia.

"They are celebrating unfinished projects such as Murcia Río, and others that have been announcing for decades, such as the rehabilitation of the Old Jail and the restoration and enhancement of the San Esteban site," said the spokesman for the group, Ginés Ruiz Maciá.

In this sense, "we do not understand how star projects that have not been undertaken can be attributed and how they can continue to promise the same things over and over again. They have us in the groundhog day."

For Podemos-Equo, the balance of Ballesta is "like its policy: many colored lights, and little else", adding that "we still don't have a municipality based on public transport, we don't have a city project for when the underground is over, we don't breathe clean air, we don't have a healthy or equal municipality, we don't have adequate schools for our children. "

The list of pending things, according to Ruiz Maciá, offers few reasons for celebration to the mayor and his councilors, and especially to the population.

"At 2020 we ask you, at least, to keep the promises you have made to us over and over again. Also, be aware of the importance of living in a healthy, fair, egalitarian municipality with guaranteed public services."
