The City of Murcia allocates 120,000 euros to the promotion and promotion of employment and self-employment in the municipality (27/12/2019)

The Employment service facilitates and supports, through these grants, the hiring of unemployed people temporarily or indefinitely, including internship contracts, and the creation of employment through registration in the Special Scheme for Autonomous Workers

The Government Board has approved the granting of subsidies for the promotion and promotion of employment and self-employment in the municipality of Murcia for a total amount of 120,000 euros.

The Department of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, directed by Mayor Pedro García Rex, carries out municipal policies in the field of economic promotion and development, specifically, actions aimed at creating and promoting employment and self-employment of unemployed persons who , registered in the municipality of Murcia, meet any of the following requirements:

Children under 30 years enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System.

Over 45 years.

Long-term unemployed people.

Women / men from single parents with family charges.

Persons with disabilities equal to or greater than 33%.

Student body trained in the Employment Service of the City of Murcia, in the last three years, in Professional Certificates.

Women victims of gender violence.

People with difficulty inserting into the labor market (social exclusion).

The recipients of these grants in the contracting modality have been SMEs and micropymes that carry out their activity in any of the following types of companies: natural person, community of goods, social economy companies (cooperatives and labor societies), commercial companies, non-profit entities and insertion companies.

For the self-promotion modality, the recipients are natural persons, members of communities of assets or civil societies and partners who join social economy companies, with fiscal domicile or work center in the municipality of Murcia and whose incorporation requires registration in the Special Scheme for Autonomous Workers (RETA) for a minimum of twelve months.

Once the applications submitted have been reviewed and evaluated, 40 subsidies worth 120,000 euros distributed provisionally are distributed as follows:

28 for self-employed workers for an amount of € 84,000.

12 for contracting for an amount of € 36,000 (6 temporary and 6 indefinite contracts).
